Feeling like you need a new cape? Are your monsters and props not dressed as well as they could be? If you want to learn how to sew up a basic Cape, Tunic or Cloak, the Chicagoland Make and Take is holding a sewing clinic. Join us on Saturday, September 15 at 10:30 a.m. It will be at my house again. I'll provide food and drink for everybody. Let me know if you want to attend. Everybody will need to bring your own fabric. PM me if you have any questions or if you need suggestions for a basic pattern and necessary fabric yardage. Death Touch has an idea for a costume already!! We hope to see some of you here!

I'm setting the date for Saturday, January 26. Hopefully this will give people enough time to recover from the holidays and hopefully we won't be under ten feet of snow!!!!! LOL In the meantime, DT and I will probably be working on a little sewing clinic for capes, tunics, etc. We'll set a date and let you know for those who want to join in.

Newsflash

Do you like to build props for Halloween but don't have the will power to do it on your own?

Now you don't have to do it alone!

You might learn something new or even teach a few members a thing or two in the process.

Join the Chicagoland Make and Take group today.
